Our Mission
Sajaab Farms, established in May 2009 and based in Kano, Nigeria, began exporting in 2011. Initial exports included dried cassava chips to China and Israel, as well as sesame seeds, dry split ginger, and cashew nuts to the UAE and Turkey between 2011 and 2025. Their primary export commodities are cassava chips, sesame seeds, and ginger. D

Their primary export commodities are cassava chips, sesame seeds, and ginger. Domestically, they trade grains like soybeans and maize, with key clients including Afex Commodities Exchange Ltd and several flour and feed mills.
Sajaab Farms has recently expanded internationally by registering SAJAAB FARMS UK LTD and SAJAAB FARMS INTERNATIONAL DIS TICARET SIRKETI LTD in Turkey for exporting hulled sesame seeds and cold-pressed sesame oil to Europe. They are also in the process of establishing a company in Saudi Arabia, expected in late 2025, to focus on exporting garlic, onions, hibiscus flowers, and sesame to the GCC market.

Hibiscus Flower
Hibiscus is a colorful, versatile annual herb cultivated for its leaves, stems, seeds, and calyces. In Nigeria, it grows almost year-round, with peak harvest between November and April.
We specialize in Hibiscus sabdariffa (Roselle) — used to make hibiscus tea, a naturally caffeine-free herbal drink made from the dried red calyces. It offers a tangy, berry-like flavor and is rich in natural antioxidants.

Sesame is one of the world’s oldest cultivated oilseeds, valued for its rich nutty flavor and high oil content. About 65% of the global crop is processed into oil, while the rest is used in foods like baked goods, confectionery, and traditional snacks.
Sesame seeds come in white and black varieties, with the lighter seeds considered premium. Each tiny seed is about 50% oil and 45% meal, making it a highly efficient source of natural oil. The bakery industry prefers dehulled seeds for their cleaner appearance and texture.
